Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of the funeral plans provided by PUBS. By using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of them, you must not use our services.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for our funeral plans, you must be a resident of South Africa and at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to request proof of identity and address before providing our services.
3. Plan Coverage
Each plan provides specific benefits as outlined in the plan details. The benefits are only available upon the death of the covered individual and are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plan.
4. Premium Payments
Premiums must be paid on time according to the payment schedule agreed upon at the time of enrollment. Failure to pay premiums may result in the suspension or cancellation of coverage.
5. Waiting Period
A waiting period of 6 months applies to all new enrollments. During this period, only accidental death claims will be honored. After the waiting period, all claims as per the plan coverage will be processed.
6. Claims Process
Claims must be submitted within 30 days of the death of the covered individual. All required documentation must be provided for the claim to be processed. We reserve the right to investigate any claim and request additional information if necessary.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your plan at any time by providing written notice. Refunds for unused premiums will be processed according to our refund policy. We reserve the right to cancel your plan if you breach these terms and conditions.
8. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time. The revised terms and conditions shall apply from the date of publication on our website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
